You Gotta Be Kidding Me CrankaTsuris

đŸŽ™ïž Episode 16: “You Gotta Be Kidding Me CrankaTsuris”
Starring Debbie, Morty, Max, Zoe, Barry, Tina, Jake, Sylvia “The Echo” Feinstein, Princess Tsuris the cat, and Schmutzy the dog

[INTRO MUSIC: Klezmer with a record scratch, a dramatic gasp, and someone yelling “You gotta be kidding me!” in four-part harmony]

DEBBIE (narrating):
Welcome back to Generations of Grumbles, the podcast where disbelief is a daily ritual and every family moment ends with someone yelling, “You gotta be kidding me!”
Today’s episode: You Gotta Be Kidding Me CrankaTsuris.
Because in this house, logic is optional, and absurdity is served with a side of gefilte fish.

đŸ§» Segment 1: The Toilet Paper Incident
[SFX: Toilet flushing, dramatic gasp, roll unraveling]

DEBBIE:
I bought a 36-pack of toilet paper.
It vanished in two days.

JAKE:
I used it for a school project.
It was a mummy diorama.

DEBBIE:
You gotta be kidding me.

SYLVIA:
I told you! I told you! I told you!
Never trust a child with access to bulk paper goods!

PRINCESS TSURIS (meowing):
Meow. Translation: “I shredded the leftovers. It was therapeutic.”

đŸ§Œ Segment 2: The Soap Swap Scandal

MAX:
I replaced the hand soap with whipped cream.
It was a prank.

TINA:
I washed my hands.
Then licked them.
Then cried.

BARRY:
I thought it was artisanal.
I used it on toast.

SYLVIA:
You gotta be kidding me!
Also, I laminated a warning: “If it foams, don’t eat it.”

📩 Segment 3: The Package Predicament

MORTY:
I ordered a humidifier.
I received a singing fish plaque.

DEBBIE:
It sings “Don’t Worry, Be Gefilte.”

ZOE:
I mounted it in the hallway.
It activates when you sigh.

SYLVIA:
You gotta be kidding me!
I ordered that for Cousin Lenny.
It was supposed to go to his boat.
Named “Oy Vey Bay.”

🧁 Segment 4: The Cupcake Confusion

ZOE:
I baked cupcakes.
Chocolate. Vanilla. Red velvet.
Jake frosted them with toothpaste.

JAKE:
It was minty.
And efficient.

SCHMUTZY (barking):
Woof! Translation: “I ate three. I now sparkle.”

SYLVIA:
You gotta be kidding me!
I once did that in 1987.
It was a disaster.
And a dental breakthrough.

đŸ“ș Segment 5: The Remote Control Rebellion

BARRY:
I tried to turn on the TV.
I used the garage door opener.

MORTY:
The garage opened.
The TV stayed off.
The neighbor’s dog ran in.

SYLVIA:
You gotta be kidding me!
I told you to label the remotes!
I even color-coded them with glitter glue!

PRINCESS TSURIS (meowing):
Meow. Translation: “I now control the garage.”

đŸŽ™ïž Twist Ending
[SFX: Doorbell, dramatic pause, collective groan]

DEBBIE:
A delivery arrived.
A life-size cardboard cutout of Sylvia.
Holding a megaphone.
Saying “I Told You So.”

SYLVIA:
I ordered it.
For emergencies.

TINA:
It’s already yelling at me.

BARRY:
I put it in the pantry.
It scared me into eating celery.

SYLVIA:
You gotta be kidding me!
That’s my motivational tool!

đŸŽ™ïž Outro

DEBBIE:
So what’s the moral?
In every family, absurdity is inevitable.
Toilet paper becomes art.
Cupcakes become toothpaste.
And someone always opens the garage instead of the TV.
But if you can survive a day of “You gotta be kidding me”

You can survive anything.
Even Sylvia’s cardboard clone.

[OUTRO MUSIC: Klezmer with a looping “You gotta be kidding me!” chant and a kazoo solo that sounds suspiciously like the singing fish plaque]

DEBBIE:
Next time on Generations of Grumbles: “Tech Support CrankaTsuris.”
Spoiler: Morty thinks the router is a sandwich.
Sylvia tries to reboot the microwave.
And Barry just wants toast.
Again
