Do You Know Where I Put It CrankaTsuris

🎙️ Episode 24: “Do You Know Where I Put It CrankaTsuris”
Starring Debbie, Morty, Max, Zoe, Barry, Tina, Jake, Sylvia “The Echo” Feinstein, Princess Tsuris the cat, and Schmutzy the dog

[INTRO MUSIC: Klezmer with frantic rummaging sounds, a drawer slamming, and someone yelling “It was right here five minutes ago!”]

DEBBIE (narrating):
Welcome back to Generations of Grumbles, the podcast where memory is a myth, organization is a fantasy, and every family member is one lost item away from a full-blown meltdown.
Today’s episode: Do You Know Where I Put It CrankaTsuris.
Because in this house, nothing is where it should be—and everything is somewhere Sylvia swears she didn’t touch.

🔍 Segment 1: The Remote Control Riddle
[SFX: Couch cushions being flung, dramatic sigh, confused barking]

JAKE:
I put the remote on the coffee table.
Now it’s in the freezer.
Next to Morty’s brisket popsicles.

MORTY:
I thought it was a new kind of universal remote.
It was cold.
And judgmental.

SYLVIA:
I told you! I told you! I told you!
Label your remotes!
I laminated a chart: “Remote or Rogue Object?”

PRINCESS TSURIS (meowing):
Meow. Translation: “I sat on it. It vibrated. I ascended.”

🧦 Segment 2: Barry’s Sock Saga

BARRY:
I put my socks in the drawer.
Now one’s in the blender.
The other’s wearing Zoe’s glitter.

ZOE:
It’s a fashion statement.
I call it “Footwear with Flair.”

DEBBIE:
Do you know where I put the sock organizer?

SYLVIA:
I repurposed it.
It’s now a brisket spice rack.

SCHMUTZY (barking):
Woof! Translation: “I chewed the glitter sock. I sparkle now.”

đź“‹ Segment 3: Tina’s Spreadsheet of Lost Things

TINA:
I made a spreadsheet of everything that’s missing.
Column A: Item.
Column B: Last known location.
Column C: Emotional damage caused.

MAX:
My headphones are listed under “Vanished with vengeance.”

SYLVIA:
I embroidered a pillow that says “Check the freezer first.”

🎨 Segment 4: Zoe’s Artistic Excavation

ZOE:
I lost my sketchbook.
Found it in the pantry.
Behind the raisins.
Covered in brisket juice.

MORTY:
It inspired me.
I drew a brisket wearing a monocle.

ZOE:
I call it “Meat Expectations.”

SYLVIA:
I told you! I told you! I told you!
Art belongs in the studio, not the snack zone!

🎉 Segment 5: Max’s Mystery Box

MAX:
I put my science project in a box.
Now the box is gone.
Replaced by a shoebox labeled “Sylvia’s Emergency Laminates.”

SYLVIA:
That’s my backup system.
For when people ignore me.
Which is always.

JAKE:
I found the science project.
It’s under the couch.
Being used as a coaster.

PRINCESS TSURIS (meowing):
Meow. Translation: “I graded it. It got a C-minus in chaos.”

🎙️ Twist Ending
[SFX: Doorbell, dramatic pause, collective groan]

DEBBIE:
A package arrived.
Inside: a GPS tracker.
Pre-programmed to say “Do you know where I put it?” every 30 seconds.

SYLVIA:
I ordered it.
For accountability.

BARRY:
I attached it to my toast.
It’s now missing.

SCHMUTZY (barking):
Woof! Translation: “I ate the toast. I’m being tracked.”

🎙️ Outro

DEBBIE:
So what’s the moral?
In every family, things go missing.
Remotes. Socks. Sanity.
But if you can survive a day of “Do you know where I put it?” chaos…
You can survive anything.
Even Sylvia’s laminated spice rack.

[OUTRO MUSIC: Klezmer with a looping chant of “It was right here!” and a kazoo solo that sounds like a search party]

DEBBIE:
Next time on Generations of Grumbles: “Group Text CrankaTsuris.”
Spoiler: Barry replies “unsubscribe,” Morty sends 47 emojis, and Sylvia starts a poll about brisket
